All Year 6 children are ‘buddied’ up in the Autumn term with the newest members of our school – the new intake Reception children in Robin Class. As their buddy they will have opportunities to read with them, to play with them in lunchtimes and break-times and to make sure they feel settled and happy as they start on their journey in education.

They remain official buddies for the whole year. On Friday in the celebration assemblies they Year 6 children will go down to Robin class and collect them and walk them into the hall, sitting with them for the assembly.
