As well as collecting the weekly house points and sharing these in the celebration worship, House Captains are responsible for organising their teams during special themed afternoons.

To become a House Captain pupils have to write a letter to Mr Ward, stating why they would like to nominate themselves as House Captains. Hustings are then held where the potential candidates give a pre-prepared speech to persuade the children in their house to vote for them. Having heard all nominations, the children vote for their new house captain.
