the planetarium

Recently, Chaffinch class (years 5&6) went to the Planetarium at Winchester Science Museum; this was because we were learning about space, planets and star constellations.

Once we had arrived, the staff showed us how our planet currently looks from space. They then used amazing technology to reveal the spectacular star constellations in our galaxy and different aspects of the universe. To see the astounding creations of the stars really inspired us to develop a great interest in them and make a variety of different ideas to help us remember what the star constellations are called.

To us, the school trip was a great experience and we all agreed undeniably that we would all go again.
