SIAMS 2014 report

30 September 2014

Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS)

In June of this year, we received our statutory inspection as a church school, which takes place every five years. The resulting report provides a different, but complementary, perspective on the school in relation to Ofsted findings. The principal objective of the inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school and focuses on four key questions:

  • How well does the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meet the needs of all learners?
  • What is the impact of collective worship on the school community?
  • How effective is the Religious Education?
  • How effective are the leadership and management of the school as a church school?

I am pleased to report that we were judged ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. Please click to view the full report.
