shared reading with chaffinch class

Herons have been reading Meerkat Mail by Emily Gravett.

The children have loved the story with Sunny, so we decided to create our own Owl Mail. We went to the Hawk Conservancy to research about owls, used the Internet to find out more. After all their research, all the children they decided who their characters and predators would be. After so much hard work, the children completed their stories and made up their books.

Herons were excited to share their books with Robins and Chaffinch class. Well done Herons!
